6.12.08 - Floods & Water Testing
Floods & Water TestingJust a reminder to everyone that with the recent heavy rains that have fallen across the state many private drinking water wells have been impacted by the rising water. It is recommended that any drinking water well that has been overcome by a flood should be tested. These wells have the potential of being contaminated by a number of pollutants that could be in the flood water, such as livestock waste that could lead to E. coli. A simple test for coliform bacteria can alert the homeowner to the status of their well. Call us for a free water kit 727-5396 ext. 13.
