Three Rivers District Health Department assists the residents of Dodge, Saunders, and Washington Counties with public nuisances by providing education and referring to the correct local, state, or federal agencies. A public nuisance is generally described as an interference with the public's ability to pursue comfort, health, and quiet. Every city should have local ordinances that describe a nuisance and determine the course of action.
