Three Rivers District Health Department welcomes all volunteers. Three Rivers has a multitude of exciting projects that require many different skill levels. The Three Rivers District has a significant Spanish speaking population. Three Rivers strives to provide the best experience for every member of our community. We are always looking for a positive and culturally conscious individual to volunteer their bilingual abilities. Three Rivers has many projects that range from translating brochures from English to Spanish to interpreting for our nurses during patient consultation. Natural disasters and epidemics always pose a threat to our community. Three Rivers is committed to providing relief in times of need. A great example of Public Health in action was the H1N1 epidemic. Three Rivers organized public sites where the community could get vaccinated. Volunteers are a necessary ingredient in our success. We offer training, so that we may have an effective and knowledgeable team of volunteers.
