Gathering, Events and Venue Reopening Request

Plans for gathering, events, and venues reopening must be submitted to Three Rivers Public Health Department and approved for all indoor and outdoor locations/venues that hold or have a capacity of 500 or more individuals before reopening is permitted.

In accordance with the June 1, 2020 Directed Health Measure, gatherings will be limited to the greater of 25 people (excluding staff) or 25% of rated occupancy (not to exceed 3,000) for gatherings held at: Indoor or Outdoor Arenas, Indoor or Outdoor Auctions, Stadiums, Tracks, Fairgrounds, Festivals, Zoos, Auditoriums, Large Event Conference Rooms, Meeting Halls, Indoor Theaters, Libraries, Swimming Pools, or any other confined indoor or outdoor space. Groups shall be no larger than six (6) individuals. Six (6) feet separation between groups must be maintained.

Three Rivers Public Health Department To Offer Radon Kits for $1

Three Rivers Public Health Department is once again kicking off National Radon Awareness Month by offering at home radon testing kits.  The testing kits will be available for $1 as part of a campaign to educate local residents about the dangers of exposure to radon.  The campaign will encourage homeowners to protect themselves from the harmful effects of radon by identifying and fixing radon problems in their homes.

Three Rivers Public Health Department Reports First Positive Mosquito Pool for West Nile Virus in the District

Three Rivers Public Health Department has been trapping and testing mosquitos for West Nile Virus this year.  The district’s first positive West Nile Virus mosquito pool has been reported from within Dodge County.  Three Rivers will continue to monitor the status of mosquitos in the area with mosquito trapping and testing throughout the warm months.

Three Rivers Public Health Department Honors Veterans

Three Rivers Public Health Department is celebrating Veteran’s Day by sending cards of thanks to service members and veterans. Staff at Three Rivers wrote 15 cards to be sent to service members overseas and at home. A program called A Million Thanks will send the letters of support and encouragement straight to past and present military members. “Sending thank you cards is a simple, yet meaningful way for our health department to honor our military members on Veteran’s Day,” says Karmen Dickes the VetSET coordinator for Three Rivers.
