VetSET
Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD), along with other health departments across Nebraska, participates in the VetSET program. The goal of the VetSET program is to better assist veterans, service members and their families. This is done through the development of partnerships with local community. These partnerships not only improve our capacity to meet the unique needs of these individuals but also encourages recognition of their distinct culture and experiences. As a result, veterans, service members, and their families encounter providers who better understand military culture and how they can assist.

Community Partners: How Can You Help?
In the next five years, over 1 million men and women will leave the military and enter the civilian workforce or institutions of higher learning. Let’s prepare our communities to better serve our veterans and their families by rallying a team of businesses, elected officials, community leaders, faith-based organizations, non-profits, and government agencies to better assist as they transition into their jobs, schools, and communities. We encourage all providers and organizations to make their services known by adding them to the list of resources on the Network of Care website.
